Privacy policy

DomainsPulse exists to help small agencies and freelance developers monitor public infrastructure across many client sites without losing their minds. This page is the plain-language version of how we handle data. The goal is to be honest, not lawyerly.

01What we collect

Account data

Your email address, a hashed password, and an optional agency / company name.

Domain monitoring data

For each domain you add: hostname, the public TLS certificate metadata, public WHOIS registry data, public DNS records, and HTTPS response code & timing. We do not log into anything you own and we do not authenticate against your domains.

Usage data

Standard server logs (IP, user-agent, request path) for security and abuse prevention. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

02What we do not collect

  • We do not collect customer data about your clients beyond an optional label/tag you choose to store.
  • We do not scrape page contents from your client sites. The HTTPS probe reads the response status and timing only.
  • We do not attempt to bypass any access controls on the domains you monitor.

03How we use data

  • To run the monitoring service you signed up for.
  • To send the alerts you configured (email, Slack webhook, or webhook of your choice).
  • To improve product reliability via aggregate metrics (no per-customer profiling).

04Where data lives

Account and monitoring data is stored in Supabase (Postgres) with row-level security tied to your account. Application infrastructure runs on Vercel. Outbound alert delivery is handled via your configured channel (your own SMTP, your Slack webhook, or your n8n instance). We use encryption at rest and TLS in transit for everything between your browser, our app, and these providers.

05Subprocessors

The third parties that touch your data, and what they do:

  • Supabase — database & authentication
  • Vercel — hosting & CDN
  • Stripe — payments (we never see card numbers)
  • Resend / your SMTP / your n8n — alert delivery (depending on configuration)

06Your rights

You can export every domain and check we have on you (CSV) and delete your account at any time, which removes your account, profiles, domains, checks, and alert history within 30 days from primary storage and within 90 days from backups. Request via hi@domainspulse.app.
